This tour meanders through luscious green valleys and overlooks some of the country’s most pristine beaches and the Shoalhaven River. It is one of the few regions in Australia where visitors have the unique experience of meeting vignerons and wine makers at cellar doors. Morning

Our experienced driver will pick your group up from your designated address. Pick up from your address is from approx. 9 am – 10:30 am, depending on your location. Tours can depart from Sydney, Sutherland Shire, Campbelltown, Northern Illawarra, Wollongong to Shellharbour, Kiama, Gerringong, Gerroa, Berry Kangaroo Valley, Shoalhaven area and Nowra. Mid Morning

This tour will visit Coolangatta Estate, situated on the foothills of Mt. Coolangatta, it is the largest and most awarded winery in the region. Alive with history, the original convict-built village is now surrounded by sprawling vineyards and landscaped grounds. You will have knowledgeable staff explain the providence, tastes, vintage and grape varieties used in their wines. Enjoy their Award winning Semillon amongst other varietals and in the spectacular views of the Saddleback Mountain range and the green hills of the surrounding vineyards.

Lunch

We then depart for wine tastings and a one course gourmet lunch at the Cambewarra Estate which includes a complimentary glass of wine, cider or beer.

You may choose alternate venues like local cafes, restaurants and Pubs in Berry. Crooked River Wines is another premium lunch experience. Ask us for a quote for alternate lunch options.

Planning a Hen’s Party or Girl’s Weekend? You can replace lunch with High Tea at Camberwarra Estate. Their High Tea includes a selection of savoury quiches, ribbon sandwiches, scones with homemade jam and cream, tarts, cupcakes and macarons as well as a packet of tea from their “Tea Party for Alice” tea range. Cellar door staff will take you through the wine tasting experience and each guest receives a complimentary glass of bubbles upon arrival.

Afternoon

End the day with a ‘Chill on the Hill’ experience at Crooked River Wines. For Big Groups, Crooked River Wines is now offering an experience where customers receive 2 bottles of wine and glasses and time to purchase own food, wine and cocktails and ‘Chill on the Hill’. Enjoy taking in the spectacular views of the Saddleback Mountain range and the green hills of the surrounding vineyards.

Roselea Vineyard: Your group can enjoy beautiful rural and coastal views as they relax and drink their wine outdoors on the deck. The venue would open exclusively for your group. At Roselea Vineyard each person receives a souvenir wine glass to drink from and keep as a memento and the equivalent of one bottle between two people to drink and share with your group.

Note alternate or extra tastings and experiences can include: Another wine tasting experience, Craft Beer tastings at Stoic Brewing or other local breweries, 4 spirit tastings (Vodka, Whiskey, Gin and Illawarra Plum) at Headlands Distilling Co. , South Coast Distillery or Tara Distillery, Coffee and chocolate tastings at the The Berry Chocolatier and a visit to the The Treat Factory Berry.

Later

Pick your favourite music playlist and then sing some songs with us on the way back home – arrival time approximately 5:00 pm -6:00 pm. Up to two drop off locations included.

We take charter group bookings. Prices vary depending upon numbers, Groups of 12 – 24 are preferred for this tour. Larger groups can be arranged with enough notice. This service also includes pick up and return from your designated Hotel, Motel or home address.

All tours are subject to availability and the availability of wineries and other destinations used. These tours are run as a Private Tour.

Early bookings are advised due to small cellar doors at the wineries, limiting wine tasting availability at peak times.

Tours include bus, driver and tour guide, tastings at 3 wineries, 1 cheese platter and a single course gourmet lunch with a complimentary glass of wine. This service also includes pick up and return from your designated Air B n B, Hotel, Motel or home address. Departure from Illawarra to Nowra.
